Spiced Potato Wedges

Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then cut them into wedges.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, turmeric powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the potato wedges to the bowl and toss well to coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
  5. Spread the coated potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves if desired and serve warm as a delicious appetizer.
