Herbed Olive Oil Crostini
Ingredients
- 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, dried oregano, dried thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Brush both sides of each baguette slice with the herbed olive oil mixture.
- Arrange the slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crisp, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
- Serve warm as a delicious appetizer.
