Spicy Mexican Guacamole Bites
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, deseeded and minced (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (or lemon juice)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pack of tortilla chips
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, scoop out the flesh of the avocados and mash them with a fork until creamy, but still chunky.
- Add the diced tomato, chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, lime juice, and olive oil to the mashed avocado.
- Season the mixture with salt, pepper, cumin, and garlic powder. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more lime juice or salt to suit your preference.
- To serve, place a generous spoonful of the guacamole on each tortilla chip.
- Arrange the guacamole-loaded chips on a serving platter and enjoy as a delicious appetizer!
