Spicy Mexican Guacamole Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, deseeded and minced (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (or lemon juice)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pack of tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, scoop out the flesh of the avocados and mash them with a fork until creamy, but still chunky.
  2. Add the diced tomato, chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, lime juice, and olive oil to the mashed avocado.
  3. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, cumin, and garlic powder. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more lime juice or salt to suit your preference.
  5. To serve, place a generous spoonful of the guacamole on each tortilla chip.
  6. Arrange the guacamole-loaded chips on a serving platter and enjoy as a delicious appetizer!
