Gluten-Free Almond Flour Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. Add maple syrup, melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool before cutting.

This gluten-free flour is higher in protein and fiber and lower in carbohydrates as compared to refined flour. While almond flour has a higher fat content, these healthy fats are beneficial for bodily function when consumed in moderation.
