Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Add maple syrup, melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool before cutting.
This gluten-free flour is higher in protein and fiber and lower in carbohydrates as compared to refined flour. While almond flour has a higher fat content, these healthy fats are beneficial for bodily function when consumed in moderation.
